Friends of Africa

began as a vision from God in response to a need that existed in Africa. While on the missions field God revealed that it was not His will for missionaries from the United States to go to Africa for two weeks to share the Gospel and then never return. We believe that God has ordained us as Christians to go into far off countries to carry out the mandate to make disciples of all men. There are millions of people on the African continent who have never heard the Gospel. In response to this vision over a 23 year period God has gathered together men and women who have heard His call to work as missionaries in Africa. Each year we take teams on short term mission trips in hope that God will place within people a desire to fulfill the great commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that God in these last days is speaking to us as African Americans to rise up and take our rightful place on the mission field. Less than one percent of the missionaries coming out of North America are black. It has been said "why should we hear the gospel twice when so many have not heard it once." We need your help in taking the gospel to the unreached peoples on the African continent.
